The second development course organized by the Institute of the Holy Quran in Najaf, affiliated to the scientific complex of the Holy Quran in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, within the Quranic project for students of the scientific Seminary, a number of professors of the Hawza and academics, in addition to the preachers of the al-Husseini pulpit, participated in the second development course.
Sheikh Mahdi al-Bayati, the head of the Quranic hawza Affairs Unit at the Institute, stated to Al-Kafeel Network that "the course included providing lessons in various Quranic Sciences and knowledge, and the importance of engaging in the sciences of the Holy Quran with a focus on the Quranic scientific miracle, and urging to address various Quranic topics in a simplified way that each recipient understands, while emphasizing the mission of the Holy Quran professor to communicate these sciences to his students and the general public, in easy ways that everyone understands".
"Among the lecturers who participated in this stage of the courses were Dr. Mohammed Zuwein, professor of research methods, Dr. Ni’ma al-Asadi, professor of teaching methods, Sheikh Bassem al-‘Abdi, professor of Tafsir and interpreters, Sheikh Karim Msayer, professor of Quranic Sciences, Mr. Ahmed Salem, a specialist in the subject of the rules of recitation and drawing. And I had the honor to teach the performance mastery.”
"We also hosted a group of distinguished scholars of the Hawza, including Sayed Izz al-Din al-Hakim, Sheikh Ghazwan al-Khuzai, and Sayed Ja’far al-Mrowej, in order to contribute to enhancing the Quranic Sciences and knowledge given to the participants," he said.
It is noteworthy that the Quranic project includes two stages; the first was represented by two courses devoted to teaching correct reading and the rules of recitation, and the second stage is for the sciences of the Holy Quran, and from these two stages, the outstanding students are selected and involved in a specialized qualifying course, after which they graduate specialized professors in the sciences of the glorious book of Allah.
It is noteworthy that this course was held for the first students who were selected from more than five hundred scientific students who participated this year in the courses of the Quranic project for students of religious sciences in its first and second stages, after which they graduated as professors specializing in the sciences of the glorious book of God, after passing theoretical and applied exams.
