The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine receives students participating in the central graduation ceremony for Iraqi university students

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine received on Friday afternoon the students participating in the central graduation ceremony for Iraqi university students, which will be held tomorrow evening, Saturday.

"This afternoon we received the students of the Universities of Tikrit, Mosul, Diyala, Anbar and other students of the participating universities," said Sayed Mohammad Saleh Saeed Gelokhan, assistant head of the public relations department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

He added: "the reception took place in the al-Wand area, north of Karbala, and the participating students were escorted to their places of residence in the Al-Ameed Educational Complex for girls, which will host the events of the ceremony tomorrow afternoon, Saturday".

Sayed Gelokhan continued that: "there are 29 universities participating in the ceremony and more than 1400 graduate students for the academic year 2021-2022".

He explained: "the ceremony will be held with the blessing of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p ) holy shrine and the guidance of the esteemed Secretary-General, the members of the board of directors, the heads of departments and their representatives of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine involved in preparing the logistical preparations and the necessary requirements for the ceremony, as there 21 departments of the al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine and 6 departments of the Imam al-Hussayn’s (p) holy shrine that participated in these preparation.”
