The staffs of the Department of the Square between the Two Holy Shrines at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine have finished hanging dozens of festive Al-Ghadeer banners to decorate this square in preparation for celebrating the auspicious anniversary of the advent of Eid Al-Ghadeer, the day on which the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) was crowned crown prince and successor of the Holy prophet (Allah’s prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), and by him the completion of grace and the religion.
The head of the aforementioned Department, Sayed Nafi’ al-Mousawi, stated to Al-Kafeel Network: "these decorations are part of the plan prepared by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to celebrate this anniversary and highlight it, by spreading the signs of joy and making this honorable spot between the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) in the most magnificent and beautiful way".
He added: "the number of these pieces and banners has reached (76) large pieces of yellow and green colors, hung between the lampposts of the square between the Two Holy Shrines, on which the words of congratulations were written, as this anniversary brought joy to the heart of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (Allah’s prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), and the imams of Ahl al-Bayt, while their lovers and followers celebrate it with great joy on such days".
"Dozens of small pieces were also hang to form a very beautiful festive painting with other decorative manifestations of colored lamps and light Flyers," he said.
