Deputy Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine: True Faithfulness Gathers us with Our People in Pakistan

Within the activities of the Cultural Week in Islamabad, Pakistan, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Sayed Afdhel Esh-Shami delivered a speech in the opening ceremony of the cultural week in which he mentioned that every people has its own characteristics, but in terms of having something in common, the most significant things in common are the spiritual relationship and the true faithfulness to the best of all creatures Prophet Mohammed and his pure lineage(Peace be upon them).

The cultural week is sponsored and held by the Imam Hussein Holy shrine, in cooperation with the Al-Kauther University. It also carried the title Neseem Kerbala.

Esh-Shami also said that Iraqi people and Pakistani people sacrificed a lot for the sake of Allah as a price for their faithfulness to Ahlul-Bayt (PBUT). He shed light upon the status quo of the holy shrines in Kerbala in comparison with how they were during the ex-regime. In addition, he said that the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines are now under the supervision of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority His eminence Sayed Ali El-Husseini El-Sayestani.
