First Time in Pakistan, Cultural Week Activities of the Imam hussein Holy srhine begin

Opening Ceremony
in cooperation of the Al-Kauther University and the El-Abbas Holy Shrine, the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine began the activities of the Cultural Week in Islamabad, Pakistan.

The opening ceremony was held in the central auditorium of the university where so many people including remarkable figures from Pakistan attended. The ceremony was begun with reciting verses of the Noble Qumran by the reciter Haj. Adil El-Kerbala'i, followed by a welcoming speech delivered by the head of the Al-Kauther University and the representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority Sheikh Muhsin En-Nejefi, in which he extended his thankfulness to the delegation of the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines, especially the Secretaries-General Sheikh Abdul Mehdi El-Kerbala'i and Sayed Ahmed Es-Safi for holding such activities and particularly in the semi-Indian continent.

He also mentioned that holding such activities would enhance the level of culture of people in Pakistan. The Deputy Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Srhine Sayed Afdhel Esh-Shami delivered a speech in which he extended his thankfulness, on behalf of the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines, to everyone who assisted in succeeding the cultural week, especially Al-Kauther University. He also mentioned that they came to Pakistan carrying the best regards from Iraqi people to the followers and the adorers of Ahlul-Bayt (PBUT), then they headed for raising the banners of the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines in the campus of the Al-Kauther University.
