A specialized medical team succeeds in treating a young man who suffered multiple facial fractures

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality hospital managed to treat a young man who suffered multiple facial fractures following a traffic accident.

Dr. Muammar al-A’raji, a specialist in maxillofacial surgery, said that "a young man from one of the provinces arrived at the hospital with several injuries, as a result of a traffic accident that led to multiple fractures and loss of consciousness for a month, which necessitated his placement in intensive care at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality hospital, after being transferred from one of the hospitals".

"After continuous medical monitoring and treatment for two weeks, this young man regained consciousness, and a multidisciplinary medical team was formed to save him, so we performed a surgical intervention after we noticed through the radiographic chips the presence of fractures in the cheek, upper and lower jaws and nose," he added.

Al-A’raji pointed out that" we will remain in a constant follow-up to his condition until his full recovery, "explaining," the injured recovered his vitality and was transferred to a normal room, to continue receiving treatment and completing the rest of the medical procedures by the specialized medical team, "stressing that "the hospital staff was able to save this young man thanks to the great experience and advanced technologies supporting their work.”
