The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organizes the graduation ceremony of the students of the summer Quranic courses project

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized this Friday evening, the graduation ceremony of the students of the summer Quranic courses project.

The ceremony, which was held in the courtyard of the Al-Ameed Educational Complex, witnessed the presence of His Eminence, the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed. Ahmad al-Safi, its deputy secretary-general, engineer Abbas Moussa Ahmad, and several members of its board of directors and heads of departments.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by one of the students of the project, the young reader Yassin Asaad, followed by reading Surah Al-Fatiha in memory of the righteous martyrs of Iraq, then listening to the national anthem and the hymn of the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine "Melody of Pride".

Then the head of the scientific complex of the Holy Quran at the holy shrine, professor Dr. Mushtaq Al-Ali,delivered the speech of the general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

This was followed by the speech of the graduate students delivered by the student Mohammed Mustafa, in which he thanked the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine represented by the scientific complex of the Holy Quran for this valuable project, through which the students learned to recite and memorize the book of Allah, in addition to receiving lessons in jurisprudence, ethics and the holy biography of the prophet and the holye imams (peace be upon them all).

After that, the graduate students sang their own anthem for the project, and the ceremony also included a chant by the student Mohammed Baqer Qahtan.

The ceremony concluded with the recitation of the covenant of the project's graduate students, then the reading of the Dua al-Faraj.

It is noteworthy that the total number of students who participated in the summer courses project was 42 thousand students from various provinces of Iraq.
