2500 students graduated from the summer Quranic courses in Wasit

The Holy Quran Institute, the Najaf branch of the Holy Quran scientific complex at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, celebrated the graduation of more than 2,500 students from its summer Quranic courses in Wasit governorate.

The graduation ceremony of the students in Wasit, which was held in the district of al-Nu'maniya, witnessed a speech by the official of the axis of Wasit governorate, Sheikh Hazem al-Aboudi, in which he said that "these courses, which lasted forty-five days, were characterized by accuracy, organization and interaction of students, as well as parents with them to raise and educate their children on the Thaqalayn approach, the Holy Quran and Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)".

He added that "the curricula prepared by a specialized committee are great Sciences inspired by the light of the two weights (the Holy Quran and Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)), so we invite parents to take advantage of them as well".

Sheikh al-Aboudi concluded his speech by thanking "the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the Holy Quran Institute in Najaf Al-Ashraf, for their efforts throughout the past period to make these blessed courses successful, as well as the agents of the Supreme Religious Authority office in the governorate, Quranic institutions, parents and students".

For his part, the director of the Holy Quran Institute in Najaf, Mr. Muhannad al-Mayali, in his speech during the closing ceremony, stressed "the importance of these courses to teach young boys and girls the origins and branches of religion, and to immunize them against the dangers and challenges of cultural invasion through social networking sites," thanking "parents of the province for the warm reception and regularity of their children in the summer Quranic courses, and their kind feelings towards the delegation of the Holy Quran Institute in Najaf".

In his speech delivered at the ceremony, Mohsen al-Zamili, the Agent of the Office of the supreme religious authority in the district of al-Na'maniya, explained that "these courses received a very good assessment according to educational standards approved by Iraq, in terms of completing the curriculum, the interaction of students, their assimilation and attendance of lessons".

"We have distributed questionnaire forms to students to Embrace talents and graduates from these summer courses," he added, pointing out that "most parents are supporting this project, which is expected to be launched soon on a weekly basis throughout the year, to preserve what their children have learned from religious and Quranic Sciences and connect them to mosques, and to raise awareness and educate them about their religion to protect them from the soft war targeting their faith."

The closing ceremony included a blessed recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the division of the Iraqi method from the students of the Prince of readers national project, chanting the oath of allegiance to the Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), pledging to follow the path of infallible imams (peace be upon them) and commitment to the Mohammadian values and morals.
