In pictures.. Commemoration of the ceremonies of the night of Ashura; night of loneliness in Karbala

To commemorate this mournful night "The night of loneliness [Laylat Al-Wahshah]" the believers have participated in the condolence rituals on Tuesday evening the 10th of Muharram corresponding to the August 09, 2022, to recall what has happened to the children and women of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) of persecution and oppression in such night.

The rituals have started at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to pass by the area between the two holy shrines heading towards the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) amid the interaction of the believers who are used to lit candles each year to remember the darkness in which Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) have lived in such night.
