The Ziyarat Ashura was performed on behalf of 161,699 visitors through the Al-Kafeel Network and its Application

The Information Technology and Networks Division of the Media Department of the al-Abbas's Holy Shrine stated that the page of the Ziyarat by proxy at the al-Kafeel global network and its application on smartphones had received and performed the Ziyarat on behalf of 161,699 visitors from different countries of the world, through its (Arabic - English - Persian - Turkish - Urdu - French - Swahili - German) sites during Ziyarat Ashura.

This was confirmed by Professor Haider Talib Abdul Amir, the head of the aforementioned division, who added: “The acts of this year's Ziyarat Ashura witnessed an increase in the paragraphs of the program prepared to commemorate this occasion, which was implemented in cooperation with the division of Sayed servants at the holy shrine, and as a result, the turnout was great compared to last year, in terms of numbers and in terms of countries".

"Most of the registrants were from the following countries: (Iraq, Sudan, UAE, Yemen, Qatar, Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Tunisia, Iran, Lebanon, Pakistan, Russia, USA, UK, India, Sweden, Canada, Malaysia, Australia, Germany, Iceland, Austria, Greece, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Afghanistan, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Switzerland, Nigeria, Ghana, Indonesia, Italy, Spain, France, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Finland, China, Ireland, Hong Kong, Japan)".

He explained: "The month of Muharram included many Ziyarat, including that the first ten days that were devoted to the Ziyarat of Imam al-Hussayn (Ziyarat Ashura) and the Ziyarat of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them both). And it was concluded with the special Ziyarat on the tenth of Muharram. And it is the brothers Sayed servants of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine who were honored to perform these acts.”
