Successful operation to remove a tumor from a patient's skull at Al-Kafeel Hospital

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital managed to remove a head tumor that affected the movement of the patient's four limbs.

"A tumor was removed from the skull of a patient who had impaired movement of all four limbs," said Dr. Khaled al-Sarraj, the neurologist of the surgical team.

"After conducting tests on the patient, we discovered the presence of a tumor extending from the base of the skull to the second cervical vertebra," he added.

"This tumor was next to the spinal cord, which affected the patient's movement, and after we were able to remove it and the operation was successful, the patient regained her movement normally," he explained.

"The advanced devices and the great potential of the hospital helped us to successfully perform many complex operations," al-Sarraj pointed out.
