The engineering and medical staff of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continue to participate in the rescue operation of the victims of al-Qattara west of Karbala .

The director of the civil defense in Karbala, Brigadier Taher Hamid Hassan, praised the participation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine through its mechanisms and teams, as well as the continuity of its logistical support to the accident site .

For his part, the official of the Occupational Health and Safety Unit at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Bilal Jabbar Jassim, said: "the engineering, service and medical staff of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, continue to support the civil defense teams by supplying them with heavy and light equipment and cranes, in addition to the participation of the civil defense teams of the alarm systems division and rescue teams in the Occupational Health and Safety Unit ."
