Successful operation for a patient with a slipped vertebra at Al-Kafeel Hospital

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital performed a successful surgery on a patient in the fourties, who was suffering from a slipped vertebra, while artificial cartilage was implanted for him.

According to the doctors, the patient had severe pain in the lower extremities, which led to the inability to walk and move.

After the necessary tests, the neurosurgeon, Dr. Khaled al-Sarraj, said,"the patient was prepared for the operation, where we opened the vertebrae and implanted artificial cartilage instead of the worn ones, and adjusted the deviation in the spine".

Al-Sarraj stressed that" the operation was successful and the patient came out very healthy, "pointing out that "the technical capabilities provided by the hospital helped us to successfully perform complex operations".
