The success of a complex operation at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital

A medical team specialized in maxillofacial surgery at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital performed a complex operation that ended successfully for a patient suffering from asymmetry of the sides of the face.

"An 18-year-old young woman visited us at Al-Kafeel hospital suffering from a congenital deformity of the face," said maxillofacial surgery specialist Dr. Radhwan al-Ta'e.

"We performed an advanced surgical intervention, which is a reconstructive surgery of the facial bones and nasal septum, in addition to adjusting the jaws and palate area," he added.

Al-Ta'e pointed out that "these complex interventions can be performed in the maxillofacial Center at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital because it contains high technologies and specialized staff in conducting a wide range of operations that were conducted previously only outside Iraq".
