Issuance of nearly (500) press cards for media participating in the coverage of the Ziyarat Arba'een

The media department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine issued nearly (500) press cards to the media participating in covering the Ziyarat Arba'een in Karbala.

Osama Badr al-Janabi, director of the media coordination center in the aforementioned department, said, " We have issued about (500) press cards that allow media professionals to photograph, film and move freely in the two holy shrines and the surrounding area," explaining that "these cards are approved by the two holy shrines and the security services".

The center has the tasks of overcoming obstacles for media professionals from outside the country who do not know the city and how to deal with the security services, according to al-Janabi.

"We have started to prepare the logistics of receiving journalists from Arab and foreign media organizations to cover the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)," he added.

Al-Janabi pointed to the provision of housing for about (300) media professionals in addition to the management of (190) agencies, media institutions and satellite channels," noting that "the media coordination center is the link between the media of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and media institutions ".
