The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine honors the media participating in covering the ceremonies of the Ziyarat Arba'een

On Saturday evening, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine honored the media participating in covering the ceremonies of the Ziyarat Arba'een of the year 1444 AH.

A honoring forum was held by the general secretariat in the Hall of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in the presence of a number of its officials.

The forum included a speech by His Eminence the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, delivered on his behalf by the board member; Dr. Abbas Rashid al-Mousawi.

In the speech, Dr. al-Mousawi shed the light of the importance of the media work, especially that throughout history the rulers were trying to falsify the truth and distort the facts, but the Divine Will prevented that to happen.
And then praised the professional and humane attitude of our media, who will form the conscience of this time, to employ the gains and experiences in order to show the truth, although we have no other goal but these two, which is to seek remuneration and blessing in the service of al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
He added: "Thank you for your media efforts and keeping up with those rituals, which defined the world and made it realize the size of the real picture.
Thank you to our media, as they are forming peace convoys to the world, to support the rapprochement and communication between human beings, and to prove the fact of the meeting of nations of different religions and sects, under the humanitarian tent of al-Hussayn.
Thank you for your convoys that accompanied the roaring rivers of adoration, running from all sides towards Karbala of al-Hussayn, while the eyes of Heaven angels, who are circumambulating the Tomb of the master of martyrs, are staring at them from above.
If this March represents an endorsement of the rejection and an extension of the revolution, which will remain the greatest threat to the thrones of tyrants, the media voice will remain its honest tongue, which does not subside. It will then be its natural extension".
He also indicated: "This is only because the message of the media is a noble message, no less noble than the message of scholars. Thank you for having documented its illuminating scenes through the lenses of light, and you have done the universality of its message and humanity, and you have conveyed the pompous image of the crowd of faith full of the message of humanity...
Your initiative and your work will serve as a new joint to be added to the joints of the revival of the hussayni rites..
If we thank you and commend your media organizations, we will not miss the thanks of the owners of sincere individual media initiatives, who devoted their effort and time to covering these scenes of light.

We would also like to express our sincere thanks to the owners of the processions, Iraqi homes and those who have recorded good deeds in giving, generosity, and cohesion for the sake of this high revival."

For his part, the head of the media department of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Mr. Ali al-Badri, said in a statement to the news center that "the media brothers contributed to the delivery of the Arba'een scene, to all those who could not attend and participate in the performance of the blessed Ziyarat ceremonies in Karbala, so it became imperative for us to thank them, and we will form delegations to visit the institutions that contributed to the transmission of the events of the Ziyarat to thank them".
