Media Department: The Ziyarat was performed on behalf of more than one hundred thousand visitors registered in the Ziyarat by proxy page

The Media department of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the performance of the Ziyarat Arba'een on behalf of more than one hundred thousand visitors from different countries.

The official of the Information Technology and Networks Division in the Department; Sayed Haider Taleb Abdul Amir, said that "the special Ziyarat Arba'een was performed on behalf of (106.697) visitors, through the Ziyarat by proxy page of the Al-Kafeel Global Network (the official website of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine) in its various languages, as well as its social networking sites".

He added that "a group of Sayed servants working at the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine were the ones who performed the Ziyarat at the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), which included performing two Rak'ahs in addition to praying for all registered people who were unable to come to perform the Arba'een ceremonies".

The registrants were from different continents of the world, according to Abdul Amir, who pointed out that "the Ziyarat this year achieved a record that exceeded last year, in which more than 60 thousand visitors were registered".
