The Department between the Two Holy Shrines is carrying out cleaning works after the Ziyarat Arba'een

The Department between the Two Holy Shrines at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine conducted an extensive cleaning campaign after the conclusion of the Ziyarat Arba'een.

The head of the Department; Sayed Nafie al-Mousawi, said that "the staff of the department started a large cleaning operation, including the square between the Two Holy Shrines, and the streets leading to it".

"The works were carried out around the clock, until all the waste was removed from the streets surrounding the square between the Two Holy Shrines to the entrances of the Old City, followed by washing works," he added.

"Most of the staff of the Department participated in these works, which were completed as soon as possible," al-Mousawi said, stressing that "the department continued its work with greater effort during the Ziyarat Arba'een, serving the visitors of the Master of martyrs and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them)."
