Al-Kafeel Hospital shows its medical services provided to thousands of visitors during the Arba'een

Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine showed its medical services provided to thousands of visitors in the city of Karbala during the blessed Ziyarat Arba'een.

"The hospital was keen to fulfill its usual role every year by serving the visitors of the province of Karbala during the Ziyarat of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), as a plan was developed for this purpose with the participation of a number of its medical, nursing, technical and service staff, " the hospital administration said in a statement received by the News Center.

The statement added:"Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital was placed within the emergency plan of the Karbala Health Department, as it allocated five beds for intensive care in case the Health Department needs them during the blessed Ziyarat, as well as receiving and treating (624) cases in the emergency ward of the hospital.

He continued,"Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital participated in the service of visitors through the installation of 2 field medical detachments for women and men in front of the main gate of the hospital, and these two detachments provided their services to thousands of visitors throughout the days of the Ziyarat".

According to the statement, the hospital has put its ambulances on alert, roaming and stationed on the roads of visitors, as it contributed to the transportation of many emergency cases.

He pointed out that the hospital has established a mobile dental clinic this year, and the mentioned clinic is located close to the main gate of the hospital, and there is a medical and nursing team specialized in dentistry, providing its services to many visitors free of charge.

According to the statement, the hospital has prepared a service procession on the visitors ' walking path (in front of the hospital), where food and drinks were provided throughout the Ziyarat days, and a number of hospital staff from various departments participated in the procession.

Regarding the health educational services, the statement stressed that" the hospital contributed to the health awareness of visitors through the production of information materials focused on guiding, educating and sensitizing the visitor to follow health safety procedures in hygiene, food and walking, "explaining that "the materials were in the form of posters and publications distributed to visitors in addition to photo and video materials published on social media platforms of the hospital."
