The Center for African Studies discusses ways of cooperation with a delegation from Sierra Leone

The Center for African Studies at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine received a delegation of followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) from Sierra Leone, including preachers, researchers and memorizers of the Holy Quran.

Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, head of the African Studies Center of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department, said that "the visit witnessed a meeting that included a number of Department officials at the African Studies Center and the Sierra Leonean delegation, during which it was agreed to implement a number of preaching, Quranic and humanitarian programs during the coming period in various cities of the state of Sierra Leone".

"We discussed joint cooperation to implement the center's programs in various reporting and humanitarian fields," pointing out that "the center will adopt the drilling of a well within the project of the wells of Saqi Atasha Karbala, as well as the establishment of religious, moral, historical, Fiqh, doctrinal and Quranic courses in various cities of the state of Sierra Leone, which the center will supervise and support.

He explained, " There are large crowds in Sierra Leone of followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and they are keen to get acquainted with the religious and moral knowledge of authentic Muhammadian Islam."
