The martyrdom anniversary of the great Prophet, Husseini processions offer their services

The Hussayni service processions offer their services to visitors heading to the Holy city of Najaf, to commemorate the martyrdom of the great holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

"I came from Muthanna province on foot to the Holy city Karbala, to commemorate the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), and then headed to Najaf to offer condolences to Imam Ali (peace be upon him) on the martyrdom anniversary of the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), I don't care how many days I spend on the road, but what interests me is to renew loyalty to Ahl al-Bayt," says Haj Ali Abdul Hussein.

"We thank the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine for covering the martyrdom anniversary of the Great Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), and accompanying us along the way, whether on this Ziyarat or on the Ziyarat Arba'een," he added.

For his part, Ali Karim, a servant in the Malik al-Ashtar procession, says: "we start installing the procession on the (Karbala/ Najaf) axis opposite column 828 from the 24th to the 28th of Safar, and we try during these days, which are peak days, to provide all the service we can to visitors".

"We are raising money all year round and are preparing for this occasion to get the honor of the service of visitors, as we provide them with three meals a day, in addition to providing sweets and various types of fruits, as well as providing a medical detachment to take care of some people who are facing health troubles," explains Karim.
