The Department of Religious Affairs launches its plan for the month of Rabi al-Awwal

The Department of Religious Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has started the reporting and Guidance Plan for the month of Rabi al-Awwal, which it started from its first night concluding its plan in the months of Muharram and Safar.

The head of the Department, Sheikh Salah al-karbala'i, said that "the department, with its staff of Sayeds and sheikhs, continue throughout the year to perform their duties with multiple and diverse axes, which serve visitors to the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)".

He added,"the plan is commensurate with the month and its occasions, as soon as the month of Rabi' al-Awwal came after the two months of sorrow, our plan took another direction, in terms of giving lectures or answering religious questions, and the rest of the other services of the department such as Oath, marriage contracts and others."

He continued, "one of the details of this plan is to hold daily lectures before the Dhuhr and Asr prayers, in which we deal with a certain axis that combines the identification of some legitimate issues of interest to the visitor, in addition to discussing a societal issue from a religious point of view, while highlighting in these lectures the occasions such as the birth and martyrdom anniversaries of imams (peace be upon them).

The department pays great attention to the religious, guidance and awareness lectures, which are held inside or outside the holy courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and witness the presence and interaction of visitors."
