The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine begins its mourning ceremonies for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-'Askari (peace be upon him)

The Oratory Division of the Husseini Preaching at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held a condolence Council in the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-'Askari (peace be upon him).

The official of the division, Sheikh Abdul-Sahib al-Tai, stated that "the council is part of the activities of the Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon them) preaching project, which is dedicated to reviving and recalling the occasions of the imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), including the sad occasion that we are commemorating these days".

He added that "the council will last three days starting from Sunday 2/10/2022 with two lectures held in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him): the first is in the morning by Sayed Ali al-Hijazi and the second is in the evening by Sheikh Jafar al-Ibrahimi, followed by Radood Mohammed Motamadi and Radood Hassan Sorour".

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared a mourning program and was decorated in black to welcome this sad occasion, and a special condolence procession will be launched at the two holy shrines next Wednesday afternoon to offer condolences to Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), as well as to receive mourners and condolence processions.

According to al-Tai, the lectures will address several topics, including a brief summary of the imam's blessed biography, his honorable positions and some of his venerable miracles, as well as his wise treatment of his community, which was suffering from various deviations, through his behavior, his eloquent advice and commandments, and going back to the hostility and hatred the imam was subjected to from the ruling authority of Bani al-Abbas in that era. the lecture is concluded by the crime of killing Imam al-'Askari (peace be upon him) by al-Mo'tamad al-Abbasi who poisoned him".
