The servants of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine completes the work of washing and furnishing the sanctuary and the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)

The staffs of the Courtyard Care Department, the Holy Sanctuary and the Sayed servants Divisions have completed the periodic campaign to wash and furnish the sanctuary and courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

"Every year after the end of Muharram and Safar, the signs of sadness and black banners are removed, as well as the carpets and furnishings inside the holy sanctuary and courtyard, after which the courtyard, doors and the holy sanctuary are washed in succession, as well as the furnishings are replaced with others appropriate to the automn season," said assistant head of the courtyard care department Zain al-Abideen Adnan al-Quraishi.

The courtyard care department, the Sayed servants division and the Holy Sanctuary participate in this service in cooperation with the Maintaining Order Department, according to al-Quraishi.

For his part, Nizar Ghani, the official of the Sanctuary Care division, said, " due to the momentum of visitors during the period of major Ziyarat, disinfection is local for some places that need it, so this campaign comes after the end of the Muharram and Safar season to wash the sanctuary completely."

"Distinguished employees from various departments are also honored in this campaign, as this service is an honor that only few enjoy," he explained.
