Condolences' Processions commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-'Askari (peace be upon him) in Karbala

Since early hours of this day of 8th Rabi' Awwal 1444 AH, the condolences' processions of Karbala marched to the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), commemorating the martyrdom of Imam al-Hassan al-'Askari (peace be upon him) and to extend their condolences to him on this sad occasion, as well as to the Master of the Order and the Time; the awaited Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance).

These processions started from their places in the old city and headed towards the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), to extend their condolences to him and then went to the shrine of the Master of martyrs (peace be upon him), passing by the square between the two holy shrines chanting elegies and lamentations. Their march was concluded in the holy shrine of the master of martyrs; Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

It is worth mentioning that the condolences' processions in the holy city of Karbala organize their march on every sad occasion of the Mohammadian house, to extend the condolences to the master of the martyrs; Imam al-Hussayn and his brother the Master; Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), and to renew the pledge to the awaited Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance).
