The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs receives a delegation of followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) from Liberia

The Center for African Studies of the Department of intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine received a delegation of followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) from the state of Liberia.

The director of the center, Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said:"We are keen to communicate and cooperate with communities on the African continent, and provide all the necessary support to advance the intellectual and religious reality of the followers of Ahl al-Bayt(peace be upon them)".

He added that "the Center, under the supervision and follow-up of the Senior Official; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, is working on the implementation of several important programs, the most important of which is the well drilling program in thirteen countries, as a contribution to providing water to thousands of families in Africa".

He explained to the delegation "the importance of the center and the visions it adopts to spread the religious awareness of authentic Mohammedian Islam on the African continent, through religious, humanitarian and cultural programs in more than thirteen African countries, as well as supporting and caring for African communities in Iraq".

Al-Shammari stressed that "our various programs are continuing on the African continent at all levels, and during the next few periods there will be doctrinal, Quranic and moral courses for different ages and in various African cities and villages".
