A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital ends an eight-year infertility case

The infertility and IVF treatment center at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital in Karbala announced that it has been treating a case of infertility that has lasted for eight years.

The director of the mentioned Center, Dr. Jumana Ahmed, told The News Center, "after reviewing the couple's medical history, and subjecting them to a detailed and accurate diagnostic program, including laboratory tests, hormone analyzes, the wife's antibodies and other necessary tests; the results of the 42-year-old husband revealed that he has problems, which means that he will not benefit from drug treatment, while the wife did not suffer from any problems that hinder childbearing," adding that "based on the data and results of medical examinations, an appropriate treatment protocol was developed for the wife.".

In the same context, the embryologist at the Center, Dr. Ali Ibrahim, explained the process of preparing the husband by saying that he underwent careful research, and after several months of preparation, a microscopic scan was performed."

Returning to the infertility and IVF treatment specialist, Dr. Jumana Ahmed, she explained the results of the operation by saying that "two fetuses of the first and second degrees were returned to the mother's womb, and she was given a set of medications, and two weeks later she checked the clinic, took a pregnancy test and found out that she was pregnant, and after several weeks the fetus was scanned with ultrasound, and it showed that the pregnancy was progressing excellently and she is now in her sixth month".
