The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine receives the Russian ambassador to Iraq

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine received the Russian ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Elbrus kotrashev and his accompanying delegation. He was received by the deputy secretary general of the holy shrine; Eng. Abbas Moussa, and a number of its officials.

"The Russian ambassador; Mr. Elbrus Kotrashev, expressed his admiration for the holy city and its spiritual atmosphere," engineer Abbas Musa said.

"The ambassador expressed his admiration for the projects established by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, as it is a religious entity and has worked on all these medical, agricultural and urban projects, in addition to other projects serving the community," he added.

For his part, the Russian ambassador said in a special statement to the News Center, "I have visited the city of Karbala more than once, the last of which was twenty years ago," adding, "I am glad to visit this holy city today, as I have seen the changes, developments and achievements that have taken place in it."

"We will convey all that we have seen from the good reception, Urban Development, and the construction of important and large projects of a modern world class to Russia, wishing to visit this holy city again in the future," the ambassador continued.
