Successful operation on the knee joint using minimally invasive surgical technique at Al-Kafeel Hospital

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital in Karbala conducted a successful surgery for a patient suffering from a rupture of the knee joint, while the specialist doctor confirmed that the operation was performed with modern technology.

Dr. Ahmed Suleiman, a specialist in joint surgery at the hospital, said that "our success in joint replacement operations is continuous at high rates thanks to the availability of the good working environment, medical devices and materials, which are one of the most important factors".

Suleiman added that "among the operations we have recently performed is the knee joint replacement operation for a 55-year-old woman suffering from complex problems in the joint of one of her legs, explaining that the operation was performed using minimally invasive surgery technique, by not cutting the muscle, but displacing it aside and this technique helps the patient to recover faster".
