Al-Ameed university gained the lead in Iraq as an elite of its professors obtained an advanced ranking in the world ranking of scientists Alper-Doger Scientific Index.
The global ranking, which included Iraqi scientists, researchers and academics at the level of public and private universities and public institutions in Iraq, is based on Google Scholar data and Google scientific researcher indicators.
The University said in a statement that (15) professors from the university out of (2834) Iraqi researchers and academics entered the classification, occupying advanced ranks.
According to the statement, the rating included the following:
1- Al-Ameed University obtained the sequence (12) out of (111) at the level of public and private universities.
2- Al-Ameed University obtained the second place out of (36) at the level of private universities (it is the first for the existence of a non-Iraqi university in the first place in the table) at the level of private universities.
3- Al-Ameed University obtained the first place out of (29) at the level of public and private universities established after 2010.
4- Al-Ameed University obtained the second place out of (58) at the level of public and private universities established after 2000.
5- Prof. Dr. Abdul Amir Kadhem Hassan from Al-Ameed University obtained the second sequence out of (2805) Iraqi scientists at the level of public and private universities.
6- The president of the Al-Ameed University; Prof. Dr. Mo'ayyed Omran al-Ghazali ranked 938th out of 2805 Iraqi scientists at the level of public and private universities.
7- Prof. Dr. Abdul Amir Kadhem Hassan from Al-Ameed University ranked third out of 103 Iraqi scientists at the level of public and private universities in the value of the i10 Index.
8- The appearance of (15) scientists from the professors of Al-Ameed university out of (2834) Iraqi scientists in the Index.
