In Geneva.. The Iraqi Center for the documentation of extremist crimes participates in a number of workshops and seminars

The Iraqi Center for the documentation of extremist crimes of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine participated in a number of workshops and seminars on the right to know the fate of the missing held by the Cordoba Center for peace in Geneva.

The director of the Center, Dr. Abbas al-Quraishi, said that "the workshops included several axes on finding out the fate of the missing," he added, "Iraq is one of the countries with the largest number of missing people in the world, and this file cannot be neglected, because there are hundreds of thousands of families who are still suffering greatly in the loss of their children."

"The workshops witnessed a wide participation of religious figures, human rights organizations, and international official bodies," he added.

According to al-Quraishi, "the Iraqi Center for the documentation of extremist crimes is conducting a series of activities and partnerships with relevant international institutions to document the genocides and violations of human rights suffered by Iraqis".
