His Eminence the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, received on Friday the final copy of the Qur'an, which was written by the visitors during the Arba'een, and collected and corrected by the scientific complex for the Holy Quran represented by its Qur'an printing center.
Dr. Mushtaq al-Ali, head of the scientific complex of the Holy Quran, said: "based on the activation of the Quranic culture among the community, and based on the strategic vision of the scientific complex of the Holy Quran, the complex worked on seeking the visitors of Arba'een to write by their hands the Holy Quran".
He added that" the Qur'an adopted in the line is the Qur'an of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, "indicating that "this activity came with the aim of diversifying the spiritual, cultural and cognitive nutrition, which is provided to visitors arriving towards the holy city of Karbala."
For his part, the director of the Holy Quran printing center, Sheikh Dea' al-Din al-Zubaidi, explained that "His Eminence was briefed on this Qur'an, which was called the Fruit of the Arba'een, by the hands of the visitors, with a record of the names of the visitors participating in the writing of this Qur'an," pointing out that "the number of participants reached approximately (1750) visitors from (16) different countries".
