A medical team at Al-Kafeel Hospital succeeds in removing a hematoma from a patient

A team specialized in ENT surgery at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital in Karbala succeeded in performing a qualitative operation to remove a hematoma from the nose of a woman who was suffering from frequent bleeding because of it.
The Attending Physician, Dr. Adel al-Masoudi, said that "the 36-year-old patient was suffering from repeated bleeding with a blockage on the right side of the nose, which necessitated a number of tests to detect the cause, and the results showed that she had an emerging hematoma on the right side of the fundus of the brain."

"We formed a medical and nursing team to treat the patient, as we performed a catheter closure of the artery feeding the hematoma, and two days later we removed the tumor completely with surgery," he added.

Al-Masoudi pointed out that "the presence of advanced and modern devices in Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital enabled us to detect the tumor as quickly as possible to end the suffering of the patient, who was placed under medical supervision until her full recovery".
