Dar Al-Kafeel prints about (2) million books for the Ministry of Education

The Al-Kafeel printing and publishing house of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has signed a contract with the Ministry of education to print school books, according to which approximately (2) million books will be printed.

The director of Dar Al-Kafeel, Mr. Firas al-Ibrahimi, said that "Dar Al-Kafeel for printing and publishing has contracted with the Ministry of education on October 24 of this year, as the ministry will be equipped with (1822000) one million eight hundred twenty-two thousand books, indicating that within 12 days about 40% of the agreed quantity has been completed".

"We were able to provide the Ministry of education with more than a group of books as a support from us taking into account the issue of delayed curricula with the start of the new academic year," he added.

He stressed that "the quality was taken into account in terms of the type of paper and inks used, which are environmentally friendly and non-pathogenic, pointing out that the books will be delivered ahead of schedule".

The total of this contract constitutes a small part of the production capacity of Dar Al-Kafeel for printing and publishing, according to al-Ibrahimi.
