Targeting government departments ... Al Kafeel hospital organizes an awareness campaign against cancer

Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital in Karbala organized a campaign to raise the awareness of female employees of the Department of electricity on the need for early detection of breast cancer.

Dr. Anwar al Hashimi, medical phys. specialist and early detection of breast cancer, said that the awareness campaign aims to enhance awareness of breast cancer and the importance of early screening to reduce the spread of the disease, in line with the comprehensive and sustainable development plan, considering that the campaign is one of the ways to provide integrated health care to citizens, thus contributing to the empowerment of women as a key pillar for family security.

Al Hashemi pointed out that awareness campaigns for detection contribute to the speedy treatment of these cases, and increase awareness among citizens about ways to face chronic and dangerous diseases, which is a fundamental pillar of human development.

The campaign is part of a series of awareness campaigns launched by the hospital for a number of institutions and government departments in order to enhance awareness among citizens, according to Al-Hashimi.
