Starting the installation of devices in the al-Joud project for the manufacture of intravenous solutions

The staff of the Engineering Projects Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has started the installation of devices in the Al-Joud project for the manufacture of intravenous solutions in preparation for the start of the production process.

"We have reached the final stages in the intravenous solutions project, which will be the first of its kind in Iraq in terms of devices and technologies, "said engineer Dia al-Sa'egh, head of the Engineering Projects Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

"The project is very advanced, and it has been officially approved by the Ministry of health, as well as we have received international accreditations and other advisory bodies," he added, noting that "all design steps have been completed according to high and international specifications".

For his part, the supervisor of the project, engineer Haider Shaker, said that" the project is vital and needed by the country and will be one of the national pillars of the pharmaceutical industry in Iraq, and will avoid the monopoly of foreign companies and increase the added value of the country in terms of investment and export, explaining that "the project operates two production lines of large volume category (500-250 ml), and the production capacity will exceed 20 million packages per year."

Khurshid Haider, consultant in the pharmaceutical industry, stressed that "the project is sensitive and has a direct link to people's lives, so the devices and equipment were chosen with great caution, as we traveled to the equipped companies and checked the specifications and accuracy, and we have two lines, the first from European origin and is considered one of the best equipment in the world, and the second from various known companies and all the equipment is compatible with European specifications".
