The Holy Quran Institute for Women in Najaf, affiliated to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, celebrated the graduation of the second and third batches of students from the Quranic Studies Unit.
The Institute's official, Ms. Manar al-Jubouri, said: "today we celebrated the graduation (26) students who reaped the joy of graduation after four years of continuous study, in which they were taught lessons in: the rules of recitation, Quranic grammar, the sciences of the Holy Quran, the rules of interpretation, as well as logic, jurisprudence, dogmas, and Hadith Sciences."
She added, "the ceremony witnessed a reading of the abstracts of the winning research in the competition which was conducted by the Institute for the celebrated students, namely the student Hamida Dakhel Shaker, Mervat Jabbar and Hana Abdul Rahim, and then gifts and graduation certificates were presented to the students.
