Coinciding with the birth's anniversary of The Lady of the Hijab and chastity, our highest ideal, our Lady Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her). And under the theme (from her qualities' sources, we follow the example of her Hijab) The Al-Abbass's (p) holy shrine Held, For the second year in a row, a ceremony to honour veiled students who wear the Iraqi Abaya Zaynabyah from the University of Babylon, on Friday afternoon (25 Jumada II 1435 AH) corresponding to (April 25, 2014) and at the Hall of Imam Musa al-Kadhim (peace be upon him).
The aim of this honour ceremony is to establish, root and spread the culture of the Hijab in the university community, and work to enshrine it in the hearts and minds of female university students.
The ceremony began with verses from the Quran, sourat Al-Fatihah to pay tribute to the martyrs of Iraq followed by the hymn of the holy shrine. Members and officials of the departments of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, led by its General Secretary, his eminence Sayed Ahmad Es-Safi, were present along with the 230 Awarded students and their parents.
His eminence the General Secretary of the Al-Abbass's (p) holy shrine, Sayed. Ahmad Es-Safi, after presenting his congratulations and blessings to the audience and the participants in this blessed event, gave a guiding speech saying :
" The reality , we are happy to see a pious group of our daughters and sisters, walking in the path of Lady Fatima Zahra ( peace be upon her ).
She is the Lady of all worlds' women, and the Prophet (May Allah pray on him and his pure lineage) highlighted her in the darkest circumstances, facing faith's challenges with the Christians of Najran, and made her the only woman present in the group that included the Prophet and the guardian -Imam Ali- (peace be upon them). “Then whoever argues with you about it after [this] knowledge has come to you - say, "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then supplicate earnestly [together] and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars [among us]." (3:60)
There is no doubt that the age of Az-Zahra ( peace be upon her ) is a long age, because of rights and morals she stands for, even that her age is eighteen years old or a little more, but no one but God, the Almighty, knows her real age. And during the day of Resurrection she will have a great place and a high position that no one can realize. "
Adding: "For my sisters and my daughters, it is important to recall that walking in the footsteps of Az-Zahra (peace be upon her) means the Hijab. We must have pride and a strong self esteem in order to highlight our faith, and that is not a challenge as much as it is a commitment of behaviour, when one is proud of his faith, he sticks to it firmly. And as it is obvious, the Hijab has two ways, the first one, is the apparent Hijab, which cared about the dressing code, cleanness and humbleness. "Not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment." (24:31)
When one looks at a woman with Hijab, he feels respect for her, because the Hijab shows dignity, solemnity and a certain prestige. Thus sisters must be proud of wearing it, and glad of their position in insisting on its accuracy and its culture. Beside of showing to their surroundings that their Hijab did not affect their studies."
And Sayed Es-Safi stated: "The outcry of Az-Zahra continues to this day, and the History convey till now what the Prophet (May Allah pray on him and his pure lineage) said: “Fatima is a part of me, whoever harms her, harms me, and whoever harms me, harms Allah” and “God gets pleased when she's pleased and gets angry when she's angry”. Therefore you should be firmly attached to her path (peace be upon her) "
The second type of Hijab is what explained sayed Es-Safi:
"the inner Hijab, when a woman has this bright image of chastity and vanity, There is no doubt it involves a real inner Hijab, especially when she get used to always feel the abstinence from anything that could degrade its value, even when nobody sees, God is the one who sees. which makes her feel a psychological stability and an inner satisfaction."
He added : " Hijab is a protection for women, the prestige and beauty of a woman in her Hijab. this why we cherish the woman with Hijab and encourage them.
Consequently, pious women educate and rise pious children, make a pious society.
when we are brought up by a woman who takes care of her Hijab, we appreciate its value and respect it."
Sayed Es-Safi concluded his speech saying :"We ask God to bless you and increase in the number of women with Hijab! Do always remember Az-Zahra ( peace be upon her ) in her lifestyle, and if you ever didn't find enough texts about her life, you can follow the example of her daughter, Zaynab (peace be upon her), keep her in your minds whenever you face difficulties, as despite the difficult circumstances she lived, she was committed to pride and chastity, and pledged to her Hijab."
The ceremony was punctuated with some religious psalms performed by the chorale of Al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine, and was concluded with distributing gifts to the students , who were glad to have the honour to continue in this path, by defending the morals of Islam, and following the high example of lady Az-Zahra ( peace be upon her ).
