The holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them) held a Quranic ceremony in the area between the two holy sanctuaries ..

For rooting the Quran's culture in the hearts of believers and based on the words of the saint Prophet (May peace and Allah’s blessings be upon him and upon his pure lineage): "The best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it." the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them) held a Quranic ceremony represented by the recitation of the whole holy book in the area between the two holy sanctuaries.

This ceremony held in cooperation between the house of the holy Quran belonging to the Imam Al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine and the Institute of the Holy Quran belonging to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, started since two weeks and will extend to the end of the year. And for more details, the Al-Kafeel's network met with the director of the Institute of the Holy Quran Sheikh Jawad An-Nasraoui who said:

"The Quranic recitations are held in these days in the afternoon, one hour before the Adhan of Maghreb's prayer, where a whole part (juz') is read daily, so readers who are from the more skilled in the Qurans reading and its intonation can complete the whole Qurans recitation (khatmah) in one month, and send its reward as a gift to one of the infallible imams (peace be upon them) "

He added: "Among the benefits and goals of this "khatmah" is to spread the Quranic culture and awareness among visitors and to accustom our readers to read Quran with the Motet (Tarteel) -considering that Motet differs from the intonation (Tajweed)- in order to be prepared for the Quranic recitation during the holy month of Ramadan ".

It is worth mentioning that the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them) held from time to time Quranic recitations' ceremonies in order to teach the correct reading and intonation (Tajweed) of the Holy Quran and to promote Quran's culture in the minds of visitors and lovers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
