The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine participated in the fifth edition of the international book fair of Al-Jawadayn [Imam Al-Kadhem and Imam Al-Jawad] (peace be upon them), which is held by the Imam Al-Kadhem's (p) holy shrine at its eastern entrance (Bab Al-Morad) for the period (7-17 Rajab 1435 AH) corresponding to (7-17 May 2014).
The participation of Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine was through its intellectual and cultural department, and its pavilion in this book fair received a great number of academic, cultural and religious figures, who hailed the holy shrine's publications and commended for their efforts as well as its ongoing contribution to promote the thought and culture of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
For his part, the responsible of the pavilion of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Professor Radwan Al-Sallaami has explained the eagerness of the holy shrine to the permanent and effective participation of the holy shrines in all cultural and intellectual, international and local carnivals and fairs, in order to contribute to the radiance of the Islam represented by Muhammad and his saint family (peace be upon them) in all parts of the world.
He added: "the pavilion included the publications issued by the intellectual and cultural Affairs Section, which varied between religious literature and general culture, and that are dedicated to different layers and groups of society (children, youth and elders), with theological, intellectual and of jurisprudence themes. in addition to this, Al-Kafeel's Centre of printing services participated with a number of productions, including printed images and calligraphy motifs beautifully printed in different sizes, shapes and designs on pieces of crystal, alabaster and stones. "
It is worth mentioning that coinciding with the activities of the scientific conference held under the slogan: "From the thoughts of the imams of Baqi' (peace be upon them) we get inspired, and through their approach we work" the annual international book Fair of Al-Jawadayn (peace be upon them) in its fifth edition has included a large number of books of the holy shrines in Iraq, in addition to many publishing houses from inside and outside Iraq.
