In Nigeria.. Conclusion of a doctrinal and Quranic course

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has concluded a Fiqh, doctrinal and Quranic course in the Nigerian city of Sokoto.

Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, director of the African Studies Center of the Department, said: "today we concluded a course in the field of fiqh, aqeedah and the Holy Quran, for different ages and with the participation of both sexes, aimed at developing the intellectual and knowledge balance among followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in the Nigerian city of Sokoto.

He added,"the course included many lectures, and witnessed the presence of a number of followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and representatives of the center in Nigeria attended it, and at the end of the course, encouraging gifts were distributed to the participants".

According to al-Shammari, the Center for African Studies holds many religious and Quranic courses in the African continent, under the supervision and blessing of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi.
