The completion of all preparations for the establishment of the second edition of the Annual International Cultural Festival of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in India ..

The preparatory Committee of the annual international cultural Festival and Conference of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in its second edition, set up and sponsored by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine with the participation of the holy shrines of Imam Ali, Imam Al-Hussayn and Imam Al-Kadhem (peace be upon them) as well as the Secretariat of the Iraqi Shiite shrines, that will be held in the city of Lucknow in India, announces the completion of all technical and logistic preparations of its establishment. Its opening ceremony will be during the afternoon of the 13 Rajab 1435 AH corresponding to 13 May 2014, under the theme: "The Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) The righteous of the faithful and the heir of the Prophets' science", in the largest Hussaynya in the world (Hussaynyat Imam Bara) in Lucknow, India. So to commemorate the anniversary of birth of the Guardian (wasiy) of Allah's Messenger (Peace and Allah’s mercy be upon him and his pure lineage) the Leader of the Resplendent and the dragonfly of the pious Imam Ali Ibnu Abi Talib (peace be upon them).

Preparations were two-pronged:
The preparations for the conference that will be held on Wednesday morning 14 Rajab, included the set up of the hall (SCIENTIFIC CONVENTION CENTER) then equipping it with a special podium for the researchers, lighting, sound and instant interpretation of all researches from Arabic to Urdu and vice versa, and organising the conference program in order to put the researchers on two sessions one in the morning and the other in the afternoon for two days.

The second part of these preparations included the place for displaying the intellectual and cultural publications of the holy shrines and the General Secretariat of the Iraqi Shiite shrines, where two large tents (khayma) were put in the middle of the patio of the Hussaynyat Imam Bara , the length of each of them is 12m and the width is 6m. Both of them were divided in two sections after providing them with designs inspired from the Iwans of the holy shrines, the first tent included pavilions of each of participants that are represented through their publications which varied between books, leaflets and pictures, which will be distributed free of charge to the attendees of these pavilions , the second tent is allocated for a photographs exhibition in addition to screens displaying websites, documentaries and presentation films of the holy shrines. However an aside space is dedicated to a cultural contest as well as a number of other interactive activities .
