At Wasit University:The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine holds a festival on the death anniversary of Lady Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her)

The Department of Public Relations at the Al-Abbas's (p) Hoyl Shrine held a festival on the death anniversary of Lady Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) at Wasit University.

The establishment of the festival was supervised by the University Relations Division of the Department.

The festival, which was held in cooperation with the Faculty of Education for Humanities at the University, began with a blessed recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the speech of the Al-Abbas's (p) hoyl shrine delivered by Sayed Adnan Gelokhan, through which he explained the devotional, sacrificial and loyal values of Lady Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her), and her great relationship with Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

It was followed by a speech by the dean of the Faculty of Education for Humanities; Dr. Mahmoud Hammoud, through which he expressed his pride in hosting this festival at Wasit University, stressing that Lady Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) was a great personality in her love for Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and she has a clear imprint in laying the foundations and rules of virtuous ethics".

The festival concluded with the recitation of a number of Husseini poems highlighting parts of the blessed life of Lady Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her).
