The Department of Intellectual Affairs at the Maqam Rad al-Shams organized in cooperation with the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine represented by the Hilla Heritage Center and the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at the University of Babylon, the second international conference on Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her).
The activities of the conference entitled the slogan "Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), the fruit of prophecy and the tree of the Imamate" started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, the speech of the agent of the Religious Authority; Sayed Rasul al-Mousawi, the speech of the scientific committee of the conference, a chant about Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) from the choir of the Kadhemiyah Holy Shrine and research sessions.
The conference discussed about "one hundred" researches from inside and outside Iraq, within the "eight" main themes are " Quranic studies, doctrinal and intellectual studies, Hadith and fiqh studies, biography and historical studies, educational, psychological and social studies, legal, political and Media Studies, Arabic language and literature studies, English studies.
At the end of the conference, the winning research were announced, as the first prize was won by the research " a study in the Lost Book of the news of Fatima (peace be upon her), by Abu Ali al-Suli al-Basri in the fourth century AH, by Professor Dr. Salma Abdul Hamid Hussein from the University of Basra.
The five papers that won the second prize are;
"Women between Christianity and Islam approaches in the historical image of the Virgin Mary", by Assistant Professor Dr. Shahid Mohammed Karim from University of Maysan,
"Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) and the political scene in the thought of orientalists", by Dr. Karim Jihad al-Hassani from University of Baghdad,
"Political philosophy of the system of government in Islam, an applied study of the Fadak sermon", by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Hassan Qasim from Dhi Qar University,
"The virtues of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) in the book [Manabi' al-Mawaddah li dhawi al-Qurba] by Suleiman bin Khoja al-Qunduzi al-Hanafi", a joint research by Prof. Dr. Talib Selim and Prof. Dr. Wafa Kadhem Madhi from University of Babylon,
"The legitimacy of jihad in the Fadak sermon of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) is a cognitive stylistic analysis," by Dr. Adawiya Sattar Abboud from the Directorate of education of Dhi Qar.
The five research winners of the third prize were:
"A linguistic approach to power in the speech of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her)", by Assistant Professor Dr. Wafa Sahib Mohammed from the University of Baghdad,
"Orientalists' studies of the biography of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her)", by teacher Dr. Naji Mohammed from the Directorate of education of Basra,
"Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in the sermons of Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) an interpretive reading", by Professor Dr. Hakim Habib al-Greyti from the Islamic University in Najaf,
"Quranic texts about Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) by Dr. Sakina Aziz al-Bakri and researcher Abeer Jabbar al-Mulla from the University of Babylon,
"An analytical reading of educational thought in the biography of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) by Dr. Bashir Hadi al-Taei and researcher Abdul Amir Awdah from the University of Basra".
The research that won the fourth prize were:
"Media persuasion strategies and its relationship with the demographic characteristics of the recipient in the sermon of Fadak of Lady az-Zahra", by Prof. Dr. Khalil Karam and Dr. Sattar Ajeel from the University of Basra,
"Az-Zahra (peace be upon her) a presence in poetry of al-Hillah; a study in methods of moral and artistic formation", by Prof. Dr. Nissan Hussein al-Obeidi from Imam Al-Kadhem University College in Babylon,
"Pushing suspicions about the Fadak sermon", by Dr. Mohammed Mansour al-Bayati from the Directorate of education of Babylon,
"The creative thinking and its impact on solving problems at az-Zahra (peace be upon her)," by Dr. Saif Tariq Hussein and Dr. Qusay Samir Abis from the University of Babylon.
While the following research won the fifth prize:
"The qualities of a modern woman a study and detail in the biography of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her)", by Dr. Mohammed Fahd al-Qaisi from Wasit University,
"Introduction to the Fatimi lexicon of the inherent concepts related to the mentioning of az-Zahra (peace be upon her)", by Dr. Abbas Ismail from Wasit University,
"Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) and her ideal role in preserving the Imamate", by researcher Mounir hijab Abed."
