Al-Kafeel Hospital succeeds in treating a patient suffering from acute inflammation of the seventh nerve

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital in Karbala announced its success in using special medical techniques to treat a patient suffering from acute inflammation of the seventh nerve.

Dr. Reda Mohammad al-Kaabi, a specialist in pain medicine and regional anesthesia, said: "the medical team succeeded through the use of pain medicine and regional anesthesia techniques in treating a 42-year-old patient suffering from acute inflammation of the seventh nerve."

He added that" the inflammation affected the motor ability of the nerve transmission of the nerve itself, causing him lethargy in the muscles in the forehead area and the muscles around the eye, cheek and jaw of the left side of the face, "stressing that"the patient responded to the stimulation quickly and is in good health".
