To discuss the phenomenon of begging.. The Al-Ameed Association holds a workshop with the participation of a number of researchers

The Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Association, in cooperation with the Council of elders for dialogue and governance, and under the auspices of the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine, held a workshop on the phenomenon of begging.

The workshop carried the slogan "drawing the contours of a national strategy to address negative social phenomena", with the participation of a number of researchers.

The workshop opened with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem and the anthem of the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine and the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha, followed by a speech by the vice president of the Al-Ameed Association delivered by Dr. Ahmad Sabih al-Kaabi, and the speech of the Council of elders for dialogue and governance delivered by Dr. Moussa al-Moussaoui.

The workshop also included the presentation of a documentary film about the phenomenon of begging, and a research entitled mechanisms for preparing the national policy to combat begging in Iraq, delivered by Dr. Ali Abdulaziz al-Yasiri is the director general of the National Joint Planning Center at the National Security Chancellery.

The workshop included research sessions on various economic, legal, cultural, and social topics, as well as round tables discussing these topics.
