The launch of the third phase of the Umm al-Baneen (Peace be upon her) Courtyard Project

The Engineering Projects Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced the launch of the third phase of the Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) Courtyard and Basement project.

The works of the third stage include the demolition of the owned buildings located within the project of the Courtyard and Basement of Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her), which is located on the northern side of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

Work on the project continues at an accelerated pace, and it aims to provide additional spaces for visitors, especially on major Ziyarat and Thursday nights.

The total area of the project is (20,000 m2), and includes the construction of a large underground basement, which includes Iwans, services and places dedicated to women, and above it, there will be an integrated courtyard with the same area covered with green spaces and shadowed places for visitors.

The project was designed entirely by the staff working in the Engineering Projects Department, and after being approved by the Shiite Endowment and the Ministry of Planning, it was transferred to the Iraqi Ardh al-Quds Company for its implementation.
