Within the events of the second annual international cultural festival of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) held actually in the Indian city of Lucknow, the pavilion of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine participated daily with an intellectual and ideological contest, in order to disseminate the true doctrines, including what is related to the wilaya of the Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali Ibnu Abi Talib (peace be upon them), in the form of questions widening the circle of knowledge to achieve the true facts that tried to distort and obliterate the haters of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).

The head of the Preparatory Committee for the festival , Mr. Jassam Mohammad As-Saeedi explained to the Al-Kafeel Network : " The Al-Abbas holy shrine in all its participation in international and domestic fairs and festivals, tried to bring the spirit of the thrill to motivate the acquisition of culture in multiple ways , like this contest, which is one of the activities of the Festival of Commander of the Faithful ( peace be upon him ), which has been successful in its previous edition and had the participation of about 5 thousand people, especially after the awards ceremony for the winners , ten of them won an all-expenses trip from the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to visit the Iraqi Holy Shrines. "

He added : "The quiz questions are about the biography of our Master the Commander of the Faithful Ali Ibnu Abi Talib ( peace be upon them ), they are also compatible with the levels of most people and prepared in a brief, fast and direct way, which urges a person to search and question, as well as having elements of suspense and interestingness because of the spirit of competition between the participants, in addition to the valuable prizes for the winners, among which the most important and the most exciting for the believers, travel tickets to Iraq to visit the holy sites , which increased the number of participants per day to more than 1,200 people , the draw will be at the end of the festival. "

Noting: " The competition takes place daily in an allocated and suitable place within the exhibition, it includes a one question related to Imam Ali (peace be upon him). The awarding prizes for the winners would be given after the draw, which is as follows:

The first prize : a free trip for the winner to Karbala in Iraq to visit the Iraqi Holy Shrines for two, including the air tickets, food and accomodation.
The prize from second to the twentieth: prizes from the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him, in order of priority and included the following:
1- silver ring with an ancient alabaster stone belonging to the Holy shrine of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)
2- piece of cloth from the sacred sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl (peace be upon him)
3- Clove of alabaster stone from the Al-Abbas's (p) holy Shrine.
