Intellectual Affairs Department holds an educational lecture on Imam al-Hadi (peace be upon him)

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held an educational lecture entitled (Imam al-Hadi "peace be upon him" from cradle to grave).

The lecture was supervised by the Umm al-Baneen Library, as part of the program being held by the Women's Religious Guidance Division, in the Basement of Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) inside the holy shrine.

Mrs. Noor al-Ali, the Library administrator and lecturer, said: "We presented a reading in the book (Imam al-Hadi peace be upon him from cradle to grave), and how the Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) spoke about the good tidings of his birth, name, nickname and surnames, after which the transition was made to the era in which he lived, his contemporary rulers, the most important events witnessed by the nation at that time, and the divine role played by the imam (peace be upon him) in confronting unjust rulers.

"In the time of Imam al-Hadi (peace be upon him), there were two fronts of good and evil, truth and falsehood, moderation and deviation, and despite the injustice that prevailed throughout the ages that the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) lived, they did not renounce their established legitimate right, nor did they abandon the position of their Imamate,"she added.

The lecture concluded with many recommendations, including continuing to read to learn more about the life of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), which is the goal that the Umm al-Baneen Women Library seeks to work on and develop among contemporary women.
