In appreciation for their efforts and dedication during the academic year, reflected on their higher marks and their distinctive educational attainment, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine honoured the first distinguished students from Wasit province (Al-Hay district) from the preparatory and medium school, on Friday afternoon (23 Rajab 1435 AH) corresponding to (23 May 2014) in the hall of Imam Musa Al-Kadhem (peace be upon him).
The ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine Sayed. Ahmad Al-Safi and members of the Head of Board of the holy shrine, along with the presence of a large number of students and their teachers accompanied by the Agent of the Marjia' there.

Ahmad Al-Safi explained during his speech at the ceremony after the submission of congratulations to the students and their families, wishing them success in their careers, "We must invest all capabilities and talents to contribute to the building of this country for which we hope all the best in spite of all circumstances and difficulties experienced in the past and those we go through right now. "
He added: "Our thanks to the teachers before the students for their effort in using the best pedagogies to communicate the correct information to students, enabling them to persevere and reap high grades, and this shows the care they give to promote the educational level in this country to higher levels. and then our thanks to our students for their seriousness, perseverance and their good investment of time in order to get high grades and bring happiness to their families. "
Stating: "You are at an important stage called adolescence, which is an important and dangerous stage at the same time, it is the transition to the stage of feeling, which generates a state of self-confidence. However there are a number of things that you face which need to be treated with listening more than speaking, any idea we receive (advice), we must review it if it is not good we must leave it, and vice versa, since every step we take will affect our personality in the future. "
He added: "We must also choose a good friend and stay away from the bad one; Because these relationships, whether negative or positive affect us, and we have to ask and question a lot at this age, because even the smallest question could open your horizons in science and knowledge."
Sayed Al-Safi concluded his speech by saying: "You have to create a state of balance between the studies and behaviours, and you have to benefit from the supplication of Imam Zainul 'Abideen (peace be upon him) on Noble Morals Traits "Makarem Al-Akhlaq", because the reflection and forethought in it will teach you how to deal with your surroundings."
This ceremony ended with the distribution of gifts and appreciation certificates to students, who have expressed their happiness and thanked the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.
